SMART Mentoring Incubation Programme (SMIP / समीप)

(Under SMART CITIZEN Project of CCI)

There is a missing curriculum or motivation in our schooling system. That is to say, the present schooling curriculum is serving students (especially Indian), and society at large, for creating a technically skilled youth force or human resource, however, it is incapable of creating a smart, satisfied and happy citizen. Presently, society is living in a depressive environment rather than an enthusiastic or happy environment. It is very disheartening fact that India is at 140^th rank (out of 156 countries) in the Happiness Index, a study conducted by a UN subsidiary and published reports in the name of World Happiness Report 2019 (WHR 2019). CCI organises this innovative programme so that students can enjoy their respective studies rather than holding a burden on them.

Aim: To inculcate (i) smartness in children/youth/students who can enable them to solve their problems by themselves (ii) decision-making capacity for shaping up their ‘education prospect and future career’, (iii) innovation and research capacity in students and (iv) leadership skills

Objectives: (SMART youth/citizen means Social, Mindful, Active, Real and Tenacious citizen)

1. To organize regular class room lectures (3-4 hrs./week / offline/online)
2. To organise practical based classes
3. Giving home assignments
4. Organizing trips to inspiring places scientific or historical places
5. Sensitization towards social programmes
6. Participatory teaching (train the student in teaching and leadership skills)
7. Personal assessment and evaluation of students towards change in their behaviour or thinking
8. Parental Counselling
9. Sports activities, Meditation and Yoga practices

Course Curriculum:

1. Know yourself (Psychoanalysis and SWOT, yoga and meditation)
2. Language skills
3. Mathematics and science
4. Environment and Economics
5. Social values and moral science
6. Motivational lectures
7. Leadership quality building

Mode of Teaching: Interactive teaching, Audio-video lectures, learn through playing, discussion and debates, etc.

Fee: Registration – Rs. 200 (paid only once), 4 weeks programme – Rs. 300*; 6 months programme – Rs. Rs. 1200; 1 year programme – Rs. 2000.
